Yesterday on K-Love, I heard one of their radio spots talking about Valentine's Day -- in a more traditional sense of the word. It's more about showing love for others, not just goo-goo, mushy gushy stuff to your significant other. The commercialized version of the holiday forces people to others that they love them. Why do we have to have a specific day for that? Can we not do it all the time?
This weekend CJ and I are going to be showing some love in a traditional sense. We've decided to trek down to Oklahoma to visit one of our Pastor friends. He's been having a rough go of it, so we're surprising him with neccessary items that he might be having trouble buying. Along with this we'll get great fellowship and visit another church... maybe actually hear a sermon! :)
What beter way to spread the love than by doing a good deed for those you care about? How will you spread the love this weekend?

that's a great idea. I'm going to have to think of something to do for someone else. I'm off this weekend so it will be a great opportunity!
Hmmm...great idea. I'm going to have to think of how to spread the love...I'm on praise team this Sunday so I'll have an opportunity to serve at all 3 services at church...but that's a normal monthly activity. Yeah. You've given me something to think about!
